He led the group when police held talks with the crowds before they were cleared from the ground. According to the remand report, police have so far identified 56 persons from among the protesters who were involved in the attack and have also identified around 20 witnesses to the protest including police and railway personnel. CHANDRAYANAGUTTA police on Monday nabbed four youngsters in connection with the rape of a 14-year-old girl, who went missing from her home three days ago. The accused lured the girl to leave her home and raped her, police found during the investigation. The girl has been sent to a Bharosa centre for medical examination and counselling. Further investi- India faces $100 billion capital outflow, says RBI EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE @ New Delhi INDIA may witness $100 billion worth of foreign portfolio investment (FPI) outflows in the event of extreme adverse shocks, a recent research paper by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) shows. According to the paper, there is a 5% chance of capital outflows from India of the order of 3.2% of GDP or $100.6 billion in a year, owing to extreme adverse shocks such as a Covid-type contraction in real GDP growth or in a global financial crisis situation such as the one in 2008.
