As many as 67 students across the country had scored a perfect 720, unprecedented in the testing agency’s history, with six from the centre in Haryana figuring in the list. It raised suspicions about irregularities at the centre. The servers of the result website crashed on Saturday in the afternoon due to heavy traffic but recovered later. A few complaints were received from students and parents about missing exam results at centres where they had appeared for the exam. Meanwhile, the CBI on Saturday made three more arrests in the paper leak case, including two MBBS students from a medical college in Rajasthan’s Bharatpur and one B Tech (Electrical) graduate from the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Jamshedpur in Jharkhand, officials said. The CBI has so far arrested 21 accused in six cases related to the alleged irregularities in the NEET-UG exam. The heroin was sent to the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) for further details on the purity of the drug. “Depending on the purity of the drug, it could be well worth more than the estimated cost,” Mohanty said. The Cyberabad police suspect that the huge quantity of heroin was transported to Rajasthan from across the border and later smuggled to Hyderabad. According to the police, two peddlers from Rajasthan, identified as Nemi Chand Bhati and Narpath Singh, allegedly packed the heroin in four small plastic packets each weighing 250 grams and concealed it in sweet boxes. MAN HELD FOR DOOR DELIVERY OF DRUGS IN HYDERABAD Hyderabad: A 28-year-old native of Rajasthan was apprehended by the Medipally police on Friday for allegedly trying to peddle 10 grams of heroin via Rapido delivery service. The accused, Dinesh Kumar, came in contact with the main supplier, Dinesh Kalyan, and started selling drugs. According to the police, Kalyan shared the location and instructed Dinesh to deliver the drug in envelopes. “The accused entered the pickup and drop locations of the drug and used the delivery service to sell the drug to the customer,” the Medipally police said. “The Rapido driver only knew that he was delivering a parcel,” they added. Police inquiry revealed that Dinesh was offered `500 per gram for every delivery.
