Aged between 16 and 18, three of the deceased belonged to Damara village, and one hailed from Meliaputti. All the four stayed at the local Government Social Welfare Hostel in Tekkali. The injured youth, identified as Solomon Raju, a day scholar staying in a rented room nearby, sustained severe injuries in the incident, and was rushed to the Tekkali District Hospital, where he is currently undergoing emergency medical treatment.
